With our fireball photographers we do at least four themed shoots a year. The first theme of 2018 was Steampunk. Rebecca from Glamour Portrait Sweden choose this theme. And to be honest I had to look it up.

Steampunk - a genre of science fiction that has a historical setting and typically features steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology.

I loved studying this subject. My plan was to create a headset and glue it with radars and spray paint a water pistol. But then I had a coffee with Wouter. He goes to all kind of festivals and he owns all kind of fun stuff. He lent me some attributes. Seeing the attributes I decided to use a woman and a boy.

Luckily Niels was into it when he found out he could play a role. And for Jacqueline her shoot I had Jolanda with me for hair and make-up.

I absolutely love these more conceptual shoots. If you design props of something like that and you like to get images of it, please contact me. But also if you have an idea of how you like to be photographed.  I am ready to play.

And some exciting news, I hear that Fireball photographers are opening the next challenge to more portrait photographers. If you want to participate, let me know and I will put you in touch!
